I have ADD, and a part of that impacts my memory and concentration greatly. The result? I am absolutely horrible with names. If I have been told your name, I have also forgotten it... several times at least. It's bad enough that I've been using a new greeting for when I meet people. It usually goes as following:
"Hey! My name is Matt, what's yours?...... Sweet! Just so you know, I am horrible with names, and I will probably forget yours"
In truth, you are pretty lucky if I can come up with your name within a few seconds, let alone.... at all. Especially recently, I've found myself even messing up on my best of friends!
